MILLIE

Millie (with Mommy and Daddy)enjoyed riding the wagon around the halls on the morning of her surgery

One hour post-op (surgery lasted 5 hours)

Twelve hours post-op. Dad is trying to keep her calm. The DR told us the swelling should peak at 24 hours post-op.

18 hours post-op. Out of ICU enjoying a cuddle with mom

Close up of the incision. The DR tied off blood vessels in front of and behind the incision line to reduce blood loss. It worked! She had VERY little blood loss.

24 hours post-op, rolling over. (This was the beginning of her amazing recovery)

Three days post-op in the playroom at the hospital. One eye is open.

Three days post-op - we're home!

Five weeks post-op - see the forehead is still pretty "bossy". Dr says she needs to wear the DOC Band for a while.

7 weeks post-op with sisters, Olivia and Alexandra

Millie's 1st birthday - wearing the DOC Band

Still in the DOC Band -still happy!

She obviously had no trouble sleeping in her Band.
