For Baby:

• Favorite stuffed animal/toys (soft sound animals are nice)

• Front snap onesies/t-shirts

• Pajamas that button or zip in the front (although, the little hospital gowns may be more convenient)

• Bottles and liners (provided by hospital)

• Formula/food (provided by hospital)

• Favorite book to read out loud

• Diaper (provided by hospital)

• Front snap, zip or button "going home" outfit for baby...maybe one with a little hat

For You:

• Books/magazines

• Pen/paper

• Personal journal

• Crosswords/hobby items

• Phone number list

• Phone card

• Tape player

• Tape of your angel's laughter

• Tapes baby likes and is accustomed to hearing

• Quarters (pay phones, vending machines)

• Camera/film

• Picture of Baby

• Toiletries

• Brush/comb

• Kleenex

• Comfortable clothes

• Snack food/gum
