Mason's Mom Registered: Jul 2006 Location: Wilson, NC Posts: 234 5 years post op!!!! Hi Everyone! Tom and I had a brief emotional moment this morning as we realized that this morning was our 5 year anniversary of Mason's surgery. Wow! We just never even thought our outcome would have been so good and we are so blessed for that. Mason is just doing great and starts kindergarden in about two weeks! I hope that those who are just starting this journey, whether it be with the spring surgery or any other method, know that there are brighter times to come!!! It still was one of the hardest days of my life but looking at my smart beautiful girl quickly removes all those sad worrisome memories. Stay strong and best wishes to those facing this journey.
