Dr. David Daniels is a Pediatric Neurosurgeon and Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at the Mayo clinic College of Medicine and Senior Associate Consultant at the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center and Mayo Clinic Children’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
He received his medical degree at the University of Minnesota and completed his neurosurgery residency at the Mayo Clinic. He completed his pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital/ Lebonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. He also completed his Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry at the University of Minnesota.
At the Mayo Clinic, we are involved with several research projects comparing different surgical techniques for treating craniosynostosis and craniofacial abnormalities including endoscopic vs. open procedures and total vault reconstruction vs. endoscopic treatment.
