Dr. Naran is Section Chief of the Division of Pediatric Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery at Advocate Children’s Hospital, Director of Craniofacial Trauma at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Director of the Cleft-Craniofacial Multidisciplinary Clinic at Advocate Children’s Hospital, Park Ridge, Clinical Associate in the Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of Chicago Medicine & Biological Sciences, and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Naran completed his plastic surgery residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, the country’s number one rated plastic surgery training program, and his craniofacial surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, also consistently considered the country’s number one pediatric craniofacial training program. Dr. Naran is a nationally recognized educator, researcher, and leader in craniofacial surgery with over 70 peer-reviewed publications and multiple leadership roles in national surgical societies.

Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Naran has extensive expertise in complex craniofacial surgery, pediatric facial trauma, and cleft care. Dr. Naran uses multi-disciplinary care, evidence-based practices, innovative surgical techniques, and advanced treatment strategies to enhance the appearance and functioning of patients with craniofacial disorders, optimizing both their surgical outcomes and quality of life.
