The Pediatric Neurosurgery Program serves the children of Richmond through the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU and other outreach medical centers to provide state-of-the-art care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with problems of the brain, spine, or peripheral nerves. Children in need of neurosurgery are best treated by a pediatric neurosurgeon with advanced sub-specialty training, access to the latest technology in collaboration with an extensive team of other pediatric sub-specialists. The Neurosurgery Department’s fellowship trained, Board Certified pediatric neurosurgeons offer all of these elements, along with a strong commitment to a caring, family-centered approach.
