Ann M. Ritter, MD, is a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon with the Harold F. Young Neurosurgical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Ritter earned her medical degree and completed her residency in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed a residency in neurosurgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, where she now serves as an associate professor. After completing a neuroscience research fellowship at Baylor, Ritter completed fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Dr. Ritter performed endoscopic surgery on my son in March 2016. I have never felt rushed at an appointment and she has been very upfront and informative through this whole process. You can tell she truly cares about the kids and loves what she does.
