Robert Morin

Robert Morin, MD, MBA, FACS is a board certified plastic surgeon, craniofacial surgeon and pediatric plastic surgeon. Dr. Morin is in private practice in Manhattan, affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital, and in Hackensack, New Jersey, affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health and Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Morin obtained his MD from New York Medical College. He subsequently completed a combined general surgery and plastic surgery residency at Rutgers University. Dr. Morin then continued his training and completed a craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery fellowship with Dr. S. Anthony Wolfe at Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. Most recently, Dr. Morin obtained his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Dr. Morin’s primary focus is on complex reconstruction of facial deformities and he has a special interest in reconstruction of the ear and nose. One of Dr. Morin’s life missions is to bring high quality surgical care to children with facial abnormalities living in developing countries around the world. Dr. Morin received an American Red Cross humanitarian service award and was featured on ABC Nightline for being one of the first surgeons to travel to Haiti, to treat injured children, following the devastating earthquake in 2010. He continues to contribute his surgical expertise abroad through his 501(c)3 nonprofit charity, Developing Faces. In the United States, Dr. Morin works closely with neurosurgeons, ENT surgeons, dermatologists and surgical oncologists in order to restore form and function to the face. Dr. Morin is an active member of the Rhinoplasty Society and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and he frequently teaches complex plastic surgery techniques to medical students, residents and other plastic surgeons.

Dr. Morin’s recent MBA has allowed him to venture into the complex business side of healthcare as well. As a consultant for two startup biotechnology companies, Dr. Morin helps innovative and disruptive early stage businesses navigate the unique complexities inherent in the healthcare world. In addition to helping individual patients, Dr. Morin aspires to expand his global footprint by becoming a champion for positive change within our current healthcare delivery system and within the rapidly evolving and incredibly promising biotechnology world.
